I have an 89 4runner with a a340h external trans cooler on the weekend i pulled what i thought was the same trans from an 86 4x4 pickup 22re i got it home and realized it looks the same but has no cooler on the trans and does have a 2 wire plug coming out of it . will it still work in my 89 and what is the wire for ? i really hope i didn't waste my sunday afternoon

 

is there anyone who has an idea im really lost on this
