help with regearing for tires

I have a question as to which type of gearing would be best for my 95 JDM T100. I am currently running 35s on a 6" lift. Looks nice but seems slow especially up hills asphalts.

What engine and transmission do you have? What is your stock gear ratio?

I have a 3.4 swapped into my truck with a 5 speed manual trans and was running 35" tires and 5.29 gears. I think I could have gotten away with 4.88's because the BFG tires are smaller than advertised. When it was still a 22RE 4 cylinder it definitely needed the 5.29 gears.

I just did a quick search and it seems it came stock with 31" tires and 4.10 gears for the 5 speed manual trans. Like I said I have the 3.4 and put an R150 gear cluster in my R151F trans with 35" tires and my choice would be 4.88's. The 5.29's I'm running are better with my current 37's. This is just my personal opinion. You can look up an online gear ratio calculator and determine your best option.

Any good places you recommend for a set of 5.29s? Im not trying to sell one of my arms or a leg. I too would invest in the future for larger rubbers.

Here's a couple. I'd ask for brand recommendation. Some are better than others. I'm sure there are Toyota specific sites that also sell gears. Like yota masters https://www.yotamasters.com/ Low range off road or Marlin Crawler and more I'm sure.

what size

Hi, i have been busy lately but am planning to do an oil change and while its in the air, try to see what my gear ratio is. But ive also been looking around and see alot of available 5.29s. How do I know if I have a 7.5" or 8" diff without opening the diff? Also, I see that there are different teeth variations available, like 29 teeth or 27 teeth. How whould I know which one I should purchase?
