on 92 4runner v6 do the thermastat housing bolts go though any water jackets

 

What's is the problem your having? That question just seem's a little odd to me There should be studs on block side that nuts thread onto to seal thermostat housing. I'm thinking water jackets on the block and heads. Maybe someone else knows more and can add to this. Good luck
