if it was free it probably doesn't have the elocker. If it doesn't somebody got a sweet deal. It will be a great set up, if you are gonna go leafs you will need to swap out the coil mounts. Add a set of Longs to it and you should be golden...of course make sure the Front R&P matches your rear...

The differential on a FJ80 is the same hi-pinion that people put into the mini truck axle and going forward it is stronger than the standard mini differential. They are both 8" ring gears. The main problem with the axle is if you run leaf springs the slee high steer doesn't work and you end up with a bent drag link and the tie rod in the stock location under the differential. If you are going with coils it should be a nice front axle. The FJ80 is 63.5 wms to wms.
If the axle you have really has a bigger differential it is probably a FJ60. It has a 9.5" ring gear and is 58" wms to wms. The FJ60 uses the same high steer, knuckle, birfs, etc.. as the min truck axle. It is basicly the same as the mini truck axle except it is a little wider and has a bigger differential. The rear FJ80 differential comes with a e-locker which will fit into the Fj60 front.
