Question A few good newbie questions

Hello all,
I have a 1991 4X4 pickup w/ a 22RE (best vehicle I've ever owned). I'm looking to do a few simple mods and need some guidance. First, what is the best product/kit out there for relocating the oil filter. I think everyone agrees; that thing is ridiculous. Cool custom ideas welcome. Second, performance header? If I stay with the original pipe diameter is it worth the money. If so, there's several brands out there, any good recommendations? Third, is the cold air intake as effective as most say? If so, does anyone have a specific variation that they believe is best. For the 22RE, is a header and intake mod a good place to start for a few extra horses, and helping the truck breath. New to the forum, and looking forward to good times.

Thanks,

1) Getting to the oil filter isn`t that hard, all you need to do is remove the access panel in the passenger side wheel well and you should be able to get to it with no problems. 2) A header is a good upgrade for a 22RE, and you can stay with the original pipe size if you want, but it would be better if you went with a 2'' or 2 1/4'' pipe to open things up a little. 3) A cold air intake is also a good upgrade, but you can make your own alot cheaper than buying a kit. So, yes an intake and a header are a good place to start for a few extra horses and helping the truck breathe. The best thing to do is start searching the forums, and you will find lots of mods you can do to your truck.
