i am debating whether or not to buy my uncles 1979 yota 4x4. it needs a bed and an engine. it had the 20r so should i stay with that or get a 22r. also, if you know where i can get a short bed for it please let me know

 

Go 22RE at the least, but think about your future... IF you plan on goin big, could go V8. Check out this FAQ for some engine swap info, and theres plenty more scattered around.
