coilovers on 6 inch lift

so recently bought a tacoma with a 6 in lift this is my first lifted truck i worked on a few before but never owned on so i have a few questions about the lift.

so this tacoma is a 98 4x4 extra cab v6

it has a six inch lift the back looks like it has an add a leaf and a 3 in block

the front has a drop down bracket believe its a procomp but i cant tell
the front also has fabtech spindles and shocks with springs

the truck drives great alignment is perfect

so i want to put coilovers on it maybe find some upper control arms i would also like to put some shocks on the rear. i was thinking fabtech or fox shocks but how do i know what size to buy you cant buy for stock as they will be too short. i am pretty sure you can measure the back and find a comparable size to get some. so what about the front what kind of coilovers are avalible and how do i know if they will fit would really like some fabtechs but not sure if they will work

like i said this is my first lifted truck and i mostly work on lowered trucks
so let me know how this works do i got to get coilovers that are six inches longer or do i need to measure or get custom ones?

thanks for the help

Hey

I've got the same setup as you 97 tacoma with 6" fabtech DB. I've been wondering the same thing about the front struts. Just wondering if you found out anything on that? ie, if it's even possible to use anything other that fabtech struts up front.

I ended up getting some icons and they work fine I did have to make a custom spacer that is 6 inches tall to fill the space your best be would be to get some custom ones made but my setup works good and I also got my alignment and passed I can take some pics for you and I'll post them when I'm at home

Not trying to piss anyone off here, but why do you want a 6 inch lift and particularly a 6 inch IFS lift? It isn't functional off road or on.
