can dual fire plugs be replaced with regular ones? auto zone sold me regular plugs

I am replacing plugs in my 2002 4 runner. auto zone sold me regular plugs and the plugs I took out are the dual probe plugs. will the regular ones work?

Idiots seem to do that all the time.

Plugs are so cheap I just buy 2 boxes when I get past the dealer

You can not be certain if it's a flat, split, or groved electrode ground by what was/is in there.

I do not know which plugs are called for in these but you local dealership can tell you once you provide some basic information, the Vin and manufacture date.

Typically they'll also sell them for a reasonable price.

I seem to recall a decal telling what plugs are in the engine .

Without looking I can`t recall just where it is
