95 3.0 4runner

Hello all, new to the forums here. I am in the planning stages now of buying another 4runner. The 4runner i am looking at is a 95 3.0 v-6. It is in great shape, no rust, timing belt was just changed, all the necessary stuff was done. There is only one issue. There is a knock that comes from the valve area. It just about goes away after a while(5-10 minutes of driving). I thought i read somewhere that this is a normal thing. From what the previous owner told me that all valves are in spec. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. The reason why i want to buy it because the truck is just about spotless and the price i am getting it for is really good. The noise is a ticking noise coming from the passenger side valve area. It does go away after 5 minutes.

i would just do a value jobs before it sticks further but since you found a nice sounding 4runner its a great investment

Hold out and get a 3rd gen (or a 1st gen if you're primarily building a 'wheeler)
