i just bought this 1984 toyota pick up from a tow yard and i have been messin with it for a while but im new to this whole game and know 2 strokes..... this is far from a jetski..... any ways.....

my biggest concern is when im coming to a stop the motor always idles lower and then i stop and it revs back up to a consistant 1500-2000 rpms.... like i said before.. im new to this but that doesnt seem right,...

im also not to sure how this whole forum works..... so please bare with me.... and my misspelled words

thank you

i had idling problems with mine also, come to find out it was sucking air around the base of the carb with brand new gaskets, i did a big no no and put a skim of rtv around gasket and it purs like a kitten, also check ur fuel filter, ive had that happen too.
