4runner 1.5" IFS lift

i have a 95 4runner that has 1.5" lift springs in the rear. the p/o installed springs and over tightened t-bars to match lift of rear. yesterday i lowered the front (ie replaced torsion bar adjusting bolts) back to factory height because my cv boot fins were rubbing. what is the best way for me to get back that 1.5"? can i just buy billy 5100's or would i still need something like bj spacers. i need new shocks all around but coilovers seem a bit too steep$. sorry for the noob questions, at least i managed to post in the right place. thanks for any help.

Shocks don't provide lift.
You'll play hell trying to get coilovers to work on the front.
If you want to "lift" the front you'll have to do something like BJ spacers, A arm lift, bracket lift, etc.

BJ spacers are the cheapest route. Those, some new shocks all around will run you around 300-350 for some good quality. Check out 4Crawler.com for the BJ spacers. He does good work.
