similar

I have a similar problem, mine would start run for a few minutes then die, then, it would start and then run for say 6 seconds at idle then stumble die, or if you pinned the gas half the time at higher revs. Then sometimes after flogging the starter like a rented mule, she would catch and behave until I let her sit over night or for a longer period again.
Any of this similar to your experience?
