1994 Toyota Pickup , 22re
Hello everyone
I’m not a mechanic but I love working on my 1994 Toyota pickup, 2wd, single cab, 22re engine, standard 5 speed. I usually search for what I need help with and most of the time I end up with you guys and that is good because I got great help so i diced to join YotaTech.
Now I need serious help, here we go, the clutch went out so I decided to do the work, go all the part I need , did everything I suppose to do get the job done, my problem is I can’t get the transmission down, is loose on top of my transmission jack.
At the end of the transmission there is these long bar from one side of the truck to the other Is welded to the truck and is on my way, the mount is off too.
I removed the two nuts from the exhaust move the engine up and nothing, an I suppose to remove the motor mount too so I can push the engine forward!
I appreciate all the help I can get, thank you.

I'm probably not going to be much help, I'm not familiar with 2wd setups at all.
That being said, it looks like you can try some things. Maybe remove the bellhousing? Or there might be enough room to work on the clutch as-is. I assume you've taken the shifter out and have tried sliding it back, rotating it, etc?
