When I get going about 8o mph in the '07 tacoma I hear a high pitch whistle noise come from somewhere in the dash board. I tried turning the air on and off, turning it from fresh to recycle and no change. Before I bought the '07 I had been looking for a used truck and had called on an '05 that was for sale. The guy said that the truck ran great but at freeway speed he would hear a whistle from the dash board. I though nothing of it at the time but mine does the same thing! Anyone else hear of this?

 

Not sure if this will help, but I have heard other 05+ Tacos having some windshield problems. There was a problem with the seal around the windshield and that could make your noise. Talk to the Toyota dealer.

are you sure its not a hum...i have a little hum at idle

It is definately a whistel and not a hum and it only happens at higher speeds (75mph and faster).
