wanting to improve my 06 taco

What are some good suggestions for improving on my dbl cab prerunner? I'm looking at a 2.5 inch lift plus a change to the intake/exhaust system. Plus any ideas on maximizing mpg w/out hurting performance?

Lifting and changing intake/exhaust will hinder fuel economy a little. There's all kinds of stuff out there that claim fuel economy gains along with better performance, but I'm skeptical. If you want to increase fuel economy, put on narrow tires and lower the vehicle

Best thing to help with mileage is your driving habits.

I have an '07 Double Cab TRD Sport and I have gotten 24mpg out of mine on the highway by watching how I drive.

I have not done any mods to help with mileage and I don't know that there is anything out there has been proven to be very effective.

You can also try the Search feature in the blue bar at the top to help you find answers.

Thanks!
