tow bar on a 03 4runner

Ok this might be a dumb question but we have a 03 V8 4runner. So I am wondering if there is any way that I can tow it with a tow bar? It does have the full time 4wheel drive.

I don't think so. In your manual it states how you can tow your vehicle. Since I have the V6, I didn't pay a "huge" attention to the V8 but I believe you will have to get all the wheels off the ground to tow it without damaging the drive train. Putting it on a trailer is going to be your best bet.

With the V6, you can switch it to 2WD and then lift the rear end to tow.
