Stainless brake lines for 2003 4Runner sport

Stainless brake lines for 2003 4Runner sport
Trying to find out what I need for rear brake lines.
Just tired of the mushy feel of the brakes on my 2003 4runner sport.
I read that adding SS brake lines make a big difference in the front. So have ordered Centric 950.44007 ( made by stoptech) for the front.
Should I also do the rear? Read somewhere that they said it takes 4 lines for the back. Does not make sense to me. Stoptech website do list these same ones for the back also.
So do I need 2 more or 4? Or do I even need to.
Suv is now the wifes car. Bought new in 2003 and plan to keep it another 10 years. Garage keep with 74K miles and still looks and drives almost like new.
Just never could stand the mushy feeling brakes.
