oem ball joints

new to the second gen Tacoma game, but im trying to price balljoints and im digging through the drawings and the part numbers are all for the entire control arm assembly, not just a balljoint. does Toyota not condone only replacing the balljoint? there are plenty of balljoints on aftermarket parts sites.

got a chance to talk to a master mechanic at Toyota. he said Toyota feels that the integrity of the mounting area when pressing out ball joints and pressing in a new one is compromised, basically they think its only as strong as OEM when replacing the entire control arm, so Toyota will only sell the whole thing. very expensive, my dealer quoted me about 330 bucks for an arm/balljoint/armbushings assembly
