does anyone have any info on swapping a 2004 tacoma V6 3400 engine into a 1997 4runner with a V6 3400. lots of miles on the 97 and I can get an 04 with 65,000 miles for cheap. I'm trying to figure out if the electrical will work, if there's anything different between the transmission output shafts, mounting points, radiator connections, I've heard it should be cake, but I'm questioning if the electrical will work. Any input would be helpful.

 

As far as I know there isn't much difference, maybe a few things but I can't see anything that would really hold you up.
