Whiny

Today was the inaugural run of the 3vz swap..(pause for the ever-present "why?") O.k heres the deal, has a fuel pump sounding whine with the clutch pedal dis-engaged...goes away when its engaged....(I know it isn't the fuel pump, but that is the best way to describe the sound) any ideas..has a new clutch set in there..pilot bearing and all...

i know you said that you put all new clutch components but sounds like a throw out bearing to me. Had that sound a million ol times and its always that part. Hope that helps..

Ok...here goes..I bought the r151 tranny to complete the 3vz swap..I did not know that the tranny had no gear oil in it....I ran the engine but never drove it because I had no driveshafts... while there was no oil in the tranny....altogeter it was probably only about 8 to 10 minutes of run time..just to check for fluid leaks and to fill up the coolant...could this have messed up the input shaft bearing? I definitely will check on the throw-out bearing....got the kit off Ebay..it came from "Northern Auto Parts" I hope like hell thats the issue...I do NOT want to have to go in to the tranny.
