What years will fit 3.0

I have a 95 runner that needs a motor, will 1988 3.0 fit?
What about one from a 5 speed. What will I have to change to make it work.
Is there any change from 1988 to 1995 in the motors? The only thing I noticed is the top radiator hose going to the motor has another hose comming off of it on the early years.

Thanks in advance

3.0

Hi there..any 3.0 will fit..You will just have to use the block and heads from the doner engine and all your accessories .Block and heads aer the same on all engines. There are differences in the injector harness so you will use your injector harness and injectors. You can also upgrade the 88-92 spring tensoiner to the hydraulic tensioner using a 93-95 fan bracket and tensioner. The flywheel is also interchangable from auto to mannual.

ANd the knock sensor wire connector. But it can be changed by changing the sensor and pigtail wire. Try to keep it 93 and upward for a direct swap, while the 88-92 would reqiure more labor, but defintly doable.
