Hey i been checking out that online manual and under transmission models I don't see mine listed. The tag says Model 30-80LE.
Not A340 or A43.
What gives?

What's it out of?

My 2001 Tacoma auto 4x4 had a 30-40 LE in it. The worst part is the 2001 FSM doesn't have the correct instructions for it.

 

i didnt even know my A340H sitting on my garage floor HAD a tag on it!

anyway if you got an auto from a 94 4runner its an A340h unless its been swapped.

Snap-On, I still have to grin when I see that shot of the engine and drivetrain all bolted up like that. Kewl

 

I had the same question. Search on Google found a Aisin tech sheet that basically says the a340h (Toyota) and the 30-80LE (Isuzu) is one of the same?? Trying to figure out if someone swapped the tranny before I came across my money pit. Anyone have any info on this??
