1993 22re 5spd 4x4 140000 miles. can drive all day, no issues. go offroad, on first hill, starts smoking like a house-a-fire. turn downhill, clears up, & all is good. Truck sat for several months with coolant in oil- timing chain into water pump- all replaced w/new. compression @125 on all 4. This is driving me nuts!!! any help would be appreciated

 

Water in the gas tank maybe? What color smoke?

 

smoke is white & smells of oil. only happens at low speed, while going up hill or if I park for a few days with front end parked up hill. park facing down hill, all is good. just got the truck a 2 months ago from orig. owner.
