Hey guys, new to all this. I have a 95 4runner with 3vze and My dad and I took the transmission out of it due to it slipping and us trying to repair it. Long story short, its sitting in the garage now...

Ive been looking around trying to find some answers. I found a cheap transmission from a 1996 4runner 3.4 and Im wondering if this trans would fit and work with my 3vze!

Im a newbie, I know, Please dont be mean!

I dont know the 2nd and 3rd gen runners as well but if I recall right they are A340 automatics numbered. Seems like it is A340H and A340F. I know people do the 3.4 swap and use the same transmission on the second gens. Just something to make you aware that something is different. Maybe someone with better knowledge will jump in.
