toyota 94 differatials on a 87 toyota pick? could it be done

toyota 94 differatials on a 87 toyota pick? could it be done

i have a 1987 toyta 2wd pick up that i want to make 4x4 i have a 94 toyota 4x4 that was my bosses he blew thew mother and took basically everything but the diferatial and the tranfer case i was wonder in if i could but it on my 87 and make it 4x4?

i'm not sure if they changed it but i know the older 2wd are a 7.5" ring gear. does your tires have 5 lugs or 6?
