timeing and sparkplug gaping?

for an 86 22r carbed...with 226,000 miles what should the timeing be set to? I cant find any info as to what the gap should be on the spark plugs...can anybody help?

The factory spark plug gap was .028" however I have found that .032 results in better idle quality

As far as timing, I don't have the specs handy but I think the spec was 10deg BTDC (I think)
