Forgive the noob question. I've located a tailgate in good condition near me & would like to go pick it up tomorrow but I have no clue how to remove it as my truck has never had one for as long as I've owned it. Do I just lower it part way then lift off one side then pull off the other side? I'll also need all associated mounting & latching hardware (hinges, stop strap, strikers, etc.), all of that is gone from my truck. Can someone tell me what size sockets or other tools I'll need to remove that stuff? Thanks.
