crankshaft tapping loud then soft, wobbling crankshaft repair?

I now know the crankshaft pulley is wobbling read further posts

1995 v6 4runner, 195,00 miles, been running great the past few months but today it started making a knocking noise in front end near bottom of motor. oil pressure, temp everything is good, runs pretty good in drive and park other than the noise.
noise is loud like a fast 20-30 woodpecker thumps then soft either completely going away or barely heard at idle, 2-3000rpm sound is still there just faster woodpecker. seemed to have a small lose in power when i noticed the sound and drove strait home. only drove 2 miles hearing this. doesnt sound like metal, checked the plastic on the radiator but its not that.
1st thought was timing chain cover but sounds more like water pump area now.
have to wait till tomorrow to listen to it again and get a steathascope to listen to it.
i know this is a hit and miss even asking this question but i need any help i can get.

video will help, but to me that could be a wrist pin as well. Very hard to tell without video as someone's loud isn't someone elses loud.

thrust bearings? just throwing that out there

broken rod means dead cylinder right? a compression test should tell wether or not a rod is broken, i beleive.

started the 4runner today and looked at the crankshaft pulley and noticed when the sound came around it has an unusual wobble or vibration in the pulley that matched the sound so i know the issue is there.

mechanic had to remove the crankshaft pulley to do this so maybe they put it back out of balance or not enough torque on the bolts?

is there any other way this wobble could have happened?

had the timing belt replaced 7 months ago and only 3000 miles ago, the repair is under 12,000 mile warranty or 1 year.
guess i need to call my lawyer on how to go about this
