steering oscillation

my 2wd 3.0 xtracab has a problem in that the steering feels loose at low speeds. there is a strange oscillation in the steering wheel. new tires seemed to cure it for a few weeks. now tires are cupped in front real bad.

shocks?
tie rod ends?
cheap tires?

i checked the things i know about like:
muffler bearings?
fetzer valve?
double cunninbus valve?
un-rotated air in tires?
could be a broken chingaderas?

Make sure your steering box is secure. My brothers girlfriend just brought her 4Runner to our house with the same problem. Her steering box was about to fall off. Also check tie rod ends, busings, and wheel bearings.

If the tires are cupped thats a pretty obvious sign of worn out shocks.

Sounds like the entire front steering assembly needs a good inspection. Check all the linkages.
