Smile Spark Leaking!! Power loss

Hi there,
Does anyone have experience with spark leaking?
The spark is leaking outside of distributer cap or around ignition coil.
It makes sparking noise and I can physically see it is sparking externally.

I changed rotor, distributor cap, spark plug and all spark leads. but still have the problem!!
Please help if you had a same experience.

I think this might the reason my engine stalls when the spark is leaking.
Can you please help? Thanks!

Did you use factory parts?

It not, strip that aftermarket junk out of there, and put the factory parts in. Viola problem fixed.

Most of that aftermarket stuff is cheap, and can cause problems like the one you are describing. Where is the spark arcing to?

No. it's not the geniune one. It used to arc around distributor cap. But now it only arcs around ignition coil. May be I should change to geniune one? Would there be any other cause?
There is not any moisture around hood, distrib cab and ignition coil.

Fixed the problem. It was #2 spark lead was faulty!!

Hi, I found the problem!

The #2 spark lead was faulty one. I am not sure why this caused to arc the spark around ignition coils. But after replacing the #2 spark lead, there is no more spark leaks around the ignition coil.

Guess what. My engine was stumbling while driving. But it fixed the problem now!!

Thanks all for your tips!!
