Small knocking
hello everyone!
this is my first post on here and I hope yall will be able to help me out I have a manual 1992 yota pickup 3.0. Over the weekend I valve a diy valve cover gasket replacement on both sides. Instead of pulling the entire intake off I disconnected one side of the hoses and stuff (the side with the throttle body) and lifted it up and propped it up..... when replacing the valve cover with the new gasket on the left side it ended up being caught on a small lip on the inside of the timing case so I took a small block of wood and a hammer and tapped the cover in place. The problem im having is there is a small knocking noise now that is only audible in 1st and second gear. It doesn't get louder the faster I go at all. Any ideas on what it is and how to fix it?
