hi folks, just replaced a broken bulb out of my 90 4runner auto shifter assembly when it quit shifting/ stucked to park after everything is put back into place. Is there any reason that this thing quit working? I need to fix it tonight coz i will be using it early tomorrow morning.

 

Something with the shift lock mechanisim must have gotten disconected or out of whack when you pulled it apart. Check that all the wire connections are good and the levers are free to move.

 

thanks for a quick reply. There was a spring that plays the overdrive switch that was out of place which causes it to not shift. Fixed and shifts again.
