i have a sas 94 pickup that im having issues with the front drive shaft i clearanced and lengthened . i the issue im having is i keep spiting out u joint caps at the cv end ,the drive shaft doesn't seem to vibrate ,ive driven in 2wd with the hubs lockd with no vib but afterr a while it would spit a u joint cap out , any ideas whats going on

 

Did you make sure the clips are inserted on the caps? They can be a booger to install. Also are the caps loose in the ears of the yoke? They usually need to be driven in or pressed in. If you can slide them in by hand, get another yoke!

 

there should be c clips on the inside of the caps to hold them in place. sounds like you are missing them.
