I have a 1991 toyota pickup with 211k on it. I rebuilt the top end of the engine at 200k which included getting a head gasket kit, water pump assembly, timing assembally, got the heads resurfaced and cleaned up, new pucks, new clutch and pressure plate, flywheel resurfaced....
Point is the top end of my engine is new but the bottom end is still pumping at 211k.
What kind of oil should I run in it? I ran normal cheap oil the first few thousand miles after the rebuild, but 2k ago I ran some sea foam through my system to help loosen any of the old oil, drained it, and started using Royal Purple full synthetic motor oil. Will I be fine using this or do you boys recommend something else Pics of the old girl!

I like to run Amsoil engine cleaner through the oil. It's a detergent, not a solvent like seafoam and a lot of others, so causes no harm to the system and removes a lot of varnish that hampers both lubrication and cooling...
I've found the castrol synthetics with titantium to give me the quietest engine. Nearly completely eliminates cam noise and valve tics... The PO ran mobil one synthetic and that's what I used my first oil change w/ it as well before switching to castrol. Haven't tried the non-extended performance synthetic w/ Ti yet as I'm still working off/running the extended mileage synthetic one, but the standard and extended now appear to have the same formulas vs when I first bought the extended for the Ti additive...
