Roof rack and rear wind deflector

I bought a roof rack and rear wind deflector from a guy and I took then off myself. The question I have is when I took them off the donor truck the screws went into thes look like brass plugs in the sheet metal. Well were can I get plugs to put the parts on my truck. Mine didn't come with thes parts on it. What's the best way to install the roof rack and wing on?

Idon`t Remember What The`re Called But ,When Working On Philco (ford) Refrigerators. We Assembly Line Repair Guys Used These On The Door Edges For The Trim Screws. They Inserted Thru A Hole Kind Of Like A Pop Rivet Only With Threads Like A Dry Wall Hole Anchor Only These Were Made Out Of BrassAnd Was Threaded For A 1/8th Fine threaded Beass Phillips Head Screw Type Of Bolt. You Might Try A Metal Fabricating Shop Just Thought This Info. Might Help Jog Someones Memory.

Go get yourself some wellnuts. They are rubber nut insert that bulges around the metal and forms a nice waterproof seal. Most shops use them to put racks on, don't even have to remove the headliner!

I got a factory one for the 4runner for $40

Google rivnut or nutsert. Don't let the power tool worry you. You can get a hand-operated one for pretty cheap. I picked up an entire kit for $20.

McMaster Carr is a one stop shop for all that type of stuff. Just a little hard to sort through the 10 billion items they carry.
