Question regarding leaks

Hey Yotatech,

So i'm leaking in three spots

1. Transfer case
2. Front Diff
3. Rear Diff

Is there normally a gasket associated to this that I would need to replace? Or any suggested things that go bad over time?

Im getting ready to flush everything and figured I would try and tackle the leak.

are you asking if there is a differential gasket? yes there is. are you asking if there are gaskets on your transfer case? yes, there are.

more info is needed for an answer that doesn't sound..sarcastic. are your leaks from the drain plugs? there is a metal washer/gasket for all of them. are your leaks from where the 3rd member/clamshell mates to the housing? there are gaskets for those as well, although ive successfully run the rear without nothing but rtv before.

Clean the general area of the leak real well with degreaser. I'd recommend brake parts cleaner. Once it's clean you can more easily see where the leaks are coming from. Then it's just a matter of replacing whatever leaks.
