i was doing exhaust work on my 1990 Yota 22re and i got done and noticed a really bad exhaust leak. Checked it out found a hairline crack at the bend of the head pipe. Now it seems like its running on 3 cylinders. i bought the truck 1 year ago and did a tune up. would that exhaust leak cause this problem or would it be the Mass Air Flow? HELP!!!!!

 

Exhaust leak wouldn't do that. Have you checked the plugs, wire and cap to see if anything is causing a misfire? Out of time? I'd check all those first, then injectors and go from there.

 

yea i checked that stuff all good. its frustrating b/c i cant see the problem ya know i mean it literally just started out of the blue
