power steering problem

im looking at buying a 93 4runner and the guy said that the power steering is out, but he thinks its just a leak in the hose. how much will this cost to fix?

From: California Screw them smog laws.

If it's just the hose. It should be the cost of the hose.

well i mean if its more than that (all of it maybe)

check out a rebuild kit from the dealer, try wabfab or a local reman place. not terribly difficult to do, time consuming and messy though.

I got a replacement pump (lifetime warranty) from a local place called Advanced Auto here. It ran me about $80 and all I had to do was swap some pieces onto the refurbished pump and put in ATF.
