opps !

when i took the engine out of my 86 with a 22r i couldn't get the heater hoses loose so i grabbed a pair if water pump pliers or as they are also called slip joint pliers ,and grabbed the hoses and twisted the hoses came loose but crimped the heater outlets it was fine for the summer but winter time was comming. when they work on pipes in the hotels they have a tapered plug you put in the pipes and clamp them down i found one that fit the outlet tubes and rounded them back nicely, put the hoses back on with just a tiny bit of silicone sealant and no leaks except the freeze plug behind the starter. my question is someday i am going to replace the heater core do those pipes come with it or are they seperate ,and if they don't come with it,where do you buy them?

The metal pipes that attach to the heater core does not come with a new heater core. You will need to get some from dealer if available or boneyard.
