No idle

Have a 95 4 runner and to stay idle you have to keep your foot on the gas. What could be the problem.

Thanks

Idle could be set too low. Clogged air filter?

It would also help to include engine and trans too

Pull codes and see if anything comes up.
What engine?
The Idle Air Control valve may be malfunctioning.

Also, does it outright die? or does it just idle really bad, really low rpm?
