Need help now!! Y-pipe cherry red, real hot

were runnin this new 22re i just dropped in and the y pipe that connects to the exhaust manifold is gettin real hot, the cats not clogged. any ideas on what causin this? im workin on it now, need help asap haha

Was the exhaust getting hot before? If not then well theres your problem.

Ahem.... nah but um sure your cat is not clogged? how big are the pipes? Quality metal? Getting hot anywhere else?
