Is my rear pinion seal leaking?

Came back from a fishing trip and my boat and trailer had a fine film of oily dots all over it as did the back of my tailgate and topper. My buddy that backed my boat in had trouble with the clutch and he put the axles under for at least a minute..

I took the breather off and it wasn't plugged. I thought maybe it took some water in and was getting rid of it but I'm not sure.
I took the fill and drain plugs out and plan on changing the oil anyways. From the photos does this look like a pinion seal leak to you? The fill plug was hard as heck to get off but a 6 sided 24 and a better impact got it off along with a soaking of liquid wrench. But I just went and tried to get the drive shaft off and those 4 nuts won't budge at all. I soaked them down and hope they loosen up by morning.

Here's what it looks like.

Pinion seal leak slings all over the gas tank typically.

Yea its weird, its like I have more oily mess on my boat than I do under the truck! Everything looks dry from the axle back including the spare and such.

From the first two pic's, I'd say it looks like it to me.
