I just purchased a 94 Toyota P/U with a 22re motor. When I got the truck the oil pressure guage didn't work and I noticed there was no wire on the sending unit. I have been totally unable to find the wire for the unit. I have searched high and low most manuals say the wire is yellow with black tracer, but my harness has no such wire. I am looking at the harness on the passenger side fender. Can anyone help with a wire color or advise. I am going to run a mechanical guage, but I would like to get the original working.

 

it would come from the harness on top of the EFI intake manifold runners.

 

Do you agree with the wire color?

 

Believe it should be yellow with black stripe on it.
