Hello fellas. I have an 87 SR5 extended cab Pickup. It's got 4Runner seats and the double stacked center console (done by a previous owner). The center console is all there but very raggedy. I'm considering removing it and putting in a Max-Bilt Command Center in its place. Took a measurement at the shop yesterday for the distance between the buckets. The stated required distance is 8.5-9 inches. The space between my seats at the shortest point is 8 inches but that's at the very front of the seats and I get the feeling it'll likely fit. So my question is does anyone have any experience with installing one of these in a similar year SR5 pickup or runner with buckets? Thanks for any and all input. Party.
