Master cylinder differences?

Can anyone explain the difference between a master cylinder for abs and not for abs??? Both have two ports…

I know the brake booster is a different part too…but any reason an abs booster and master cylinder WON’T work with a non abs setup???

I have been chasing down some front brake problems on my ‘95 with 4wheel abs. But I am thinking of getting rid of the abs since this is mostly a trail rig.

Couldn’t see why there would be a difference? ABS is downstream and the master doesn’t do much of anything except push fluid. Unless maybe the valving is different internally to account for the pulsing of the ABS but that would probably be a stretch.

Rebuild kits aren't the same, so guessing bore is different diameter.
