locking hubs question

locking hubs question

If i switch from ADD hubs to manual locking hubs can i just use the screws holding on the ADD ones to put on the locking ones?

Yes. Those would be called "studs" and the manual hubs would be held on by a cone washer (split dowel), washer and nut.

I'm going to be doing this mod soon myself, (as soon as my hubs arrive), and after looking at the FSM, and talking to some who have done this, yes. You won't need any additional hardware

but my hubs did not come with the cone washers and nuts? are those on the ADD ones and can I use those or will i have to buy them, if so anyone know the specs of the hardware?

The studs are already on the wheel hub with the ADD flange you have to remove and the cone washers, washers and nuts are what is holding those on already.

and "search" is your friend!
