Intermittent noise when manual hubs locked

So I have a 93 yoda 4x4 ifs, v6. when i lock my hubs in and dont shift the tcase into 4wheel drive leaving it in 2wheel driving down the river bar I hear a growling noise kida like a bad bearing intermittently. I inspected and repacked wheel bearings and pulled 4wheel hub apart. all looks to me im stuckon this one. any ideas

Your spindle has no grease on the inside. Search for "Spindle lubricator"

its your front diff the bearing are bad i had the same problems in two of my yotas put new bearings in and your good to go

With a 93 I think you have needle bearings in your spindles, instead of bushings. But it's still worth a try to grease them. A grease needle might save you the trouble of fabbing a spindle lubricator: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116.../#post51211657
