Help tracking part number

Hey part gurus. I usually pride myself in being able to track down parts with drawings pretty well, but I’m at a dead end here. There is a dust seal that bolts to the brake backing plate, behind the rotor. I can’t find it in any drawings. Anyone able to help me out here?

You can clearly see the seal here, on the brake shield.

Steering knuckle seal

I’m an idiot. I used some key work searches and was able to find number, then finally found it under a steering diagram. Figures.

You're not an idiot. The pictures you have to work with are usually off the old microfiche we had to use back in the 80's. It was sometimes a challenge to find a part that you were certain should be with a specific grouping, only to find it got assigned elsewhere.
We'd be quickly pulling one fiche out and slamming a different one in, then madly scrolling through the dozens of frames trying to track it down. The big stuff was usually easy, but the lesser parts could make you earn your pay. When I had down time I'd often grab a fiche and just start browsing' hoping to see where some things may be hidden for future use.
This is why current day counter people sometimes have trouble locating parts for the older stuff.
