Exclamation help my toyota burns coolant

hi my name is bernie i am new to this site...ok hers the story, i have an 89 toyota pickup with a 22re lifted the whole nine yards, some motor work and whatnot, but the problem im having with it is it burns coolant. the headgasket was replaced, and there are no cracks in the head. ive changed all the gaskets probobly 5times now thinking maybe i messed something up but everytime i put it back together i found the same problem. the intake is always full of coolant and since the #1 piston is at topdead center anolng with #4 2 and 3 are full of coolant when i take the head off everytime..has anyone ever heard of the intake manifolds cracking?? please help me.

There have been hairline cracks found in heads & manifolds which caused the problem you are experiencing...

It happened to a friend of mine.....it appeared the aluminum head corroded (most likely due to old anti-freeze) and a pin hole leak developed between the water passage and the air intake portion....it had nothing to do with the head gasket....but it sure was impressive the white sweet smelling smoke that came out the exhaust

This occurred on an 85 with a 22R engine....and it was blowing white smoke in 1988. The fix was a re-conditioned head. Back then, there might have been more issues with anti-freeze and aluminum heads....but old anti-freeze tends to become more acidic also.
