So my fan pulley bracket on my 94 3vze went bad and I got in there to replace it. I hastily just pulled the bracket off with the timing belt tensioner still attached then put the new one on and moved the tensioner over. I tightened it down one bolt at a time, alternating. What damage might I have caused doing this? I still haven't started her up yet since I don't want to cause any damage if I did anything really wrong.

 

As long as you didn't try to turn the motor over while this was off you'll still be in time, I've read where a few people have put it back in like that with no problems.

 

It should be good. I doubt the timing moved any
